The Police Department is part of the Aviation Division of the Lee County Port Authority, providing service to both Page Field and the Southwest Florida International Airport.

The Lee County Port Authority Police Department's mission is to provide a safe and secure environment for the traveling public and the air transport industry, and citizens utilizing Port Authority properties through the prevention and detection of crime, working in partnership with the aviation community to enhance public safety, with directed emphasis towards providing exceptional customer service.

The department has a bike patrol unit, APD/TSA Canine bomb detection unit (3 dogs/3 handlers) and an Investigations Division. The Airport Police Department is available 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
