Submitting Aircraft Overflight Comments/Inquiries

The Lee County Port Authority (LCPA) has three ways to submit an aircraft overflight comment/inquiry:

  1. 24-Hour Hotline: 239-673-0055
  2. Web Form: https://www.planenoise.com/lcpa/e8wkd7/12djw9.php
  3. LCPA's Flight Tracking System, WebTrak: webtrak.emsbk.com/rsw

LCPA offers the public the ability to express their concerns and ask questions about aircraft overflight activities through the above contact methods. Overflight comments are checked regularly during the week, except on holidays, by dedicated LCPA staff. By obtaining information from the caller about the nature of the comment, time of the occurrence, location of caller's residence and the activity that caused the disturbance, LCPA is able to properly document the comment and perform an appropriate investigation. Additionally, the information allows LCPA to properly coordinate with the Federal Aviation Administration, who is ultimately responsible for the movement of aircraft in the air and on the ground. Should commenters want a follow up, they should request a response when submitting a comment. Individuals submitting comments through the hotline should state they would like a return call when leaving their message if they would like an LCPA staff member to call them back.
